THE DISTRIBUTION OF SOME ANTARCTIC NUDIBRANCHS (OPISTHOBRANCHIA)
Fachbereich 7, Arbeitsgruppe Zoomorphologie, Universität Oldenburg Postfach 2503, 2900 Oldenburg,F.R.G.
The circumpolar distribution of the four revised species of doridacean nudibranchs: Aegires albus, Bathydoris hodgsoni, B. clavigera and Austrodoris kerguelenensis, is demonstrated, taking into consideration the known data from the literature and new localities from the Atlantic sector of the Antarctic. A. albus and B. hodgsoni are restricted to the High Antarctic Zone. A. kerguelenensis is widely distributed in the High Antarctic and Subantarctic Zone, whereas localities of B. clavigera are restricted to the High Antarctic Zone and the Atlantic sector of the Subantarctic Zone.
